Our school is in Harwell, a little village in Oxfordshire.
It is a fairly modern school building. The school is quite an unusual shape, the hall has a strange-shaped roof which is like a lot of pyramids joined together.
We have a large playing field and playground. We also have one football pitch and three adventure play areas, a 3G Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP) and a Swimming Pool with changing rooms. The AGP and Swimming Pool are available for hire. Please contact our school bookings co-ordinator, Lauren Paton to make an enquiry – booking@harwellprimaryschool.co.uk
At the edge of the field we have a wild area where we can study flowers and trees. There are seven classrooms in the school, a KS2 library, some teaching & learning spaces for small group work, the kitchen and the school hall. In Key Stage 1 there is also a shared area for group work. There are four cloakrooms, two for the Key Stage 1 and two for Key Stage 2. We have a garden where we grow plants some of which have been grown from our greenhouse and polytunnel.
