Harwell School Hall
Some of you will already be aware that internal works are currently being carried out in St Matthew’s Church. This unfortunately means that we will be unable to hold our annual service in the Church.
We will instead be holding a Harvest Assembly in the School Hall to which you are warmly welcome. Revd Jonathan Mobey from St Matthews will be joining us.
However, space is more limited than in St Matthews and so we are going to have to enforce a no pram/buggy rule please. If you are bringing younger siblings who are not yet walking then we will provide an area where these can be parked during the assembly.
Traditionally, parents will have walked to Church straight from the school morning drop off. This year, Class 6 will be used as a waiting area for parents where teas and coffees will be provided. Year 6 will be learning elsewhere.
Our Food collection will again this year be donated to Didcot food Bank. They are particularly looking for:
tea; coffee; sugar; jams; biscuits; cereals; hot beverages; long life juice; UHT or powdered milk; pasta; rice; tins – fruit, puddings, fish, vegetables, meat or soup; bottled sauces and treats.
